P-town Teen Volunteers (PTTV) is a leadership-based service group through the City of Pleasanton that focuses on involving youth in the community. PTTV allows students the opportunity to be proactive in fulfilling volunteer hours in a fun environment. PTTV meets two Mondays each month and has regular volunteer opportunities throughout the school year.

Volunteers often provide comfort to an entire family during the anxious hours of a medical emergency, or offer encouraging words to a patient awaiting surgery. Others put their talents to good use in the Thrift Shop and Gift Shops raising funds for scholarships, equipment and the state-of-the-art facilities and services you have come to expect from ValleyCare.

VolunteerMatch is the nonprofit, online service that helps interested volunteers get involved with community service organizations throughout the United States. Volunteers enter their ZIP code on the VolunteerMatch web site to quickly find local volunteer opportunities matching individual interests and schedules.

Without the help of dedicated volunteers, the East Bay Regional Park District could not offer the public the variety of services and programs that it does. There are many year-round volunteer opportunities for you, your family, or your school or civic group in the Regional Parks.

The Meseum is seeking volunteers for a variety of activities. The museum needs people on weekdays to greet visitors, answer phones or give educational tours. Weekend volunteers are needed to greet visitors and answer phones. A two to three-month committment is ideal.
